We are in the thick of it now, with very little time for resting between races.

The vests saw heavy use this week, with West End 8 on Sunday and Rothley 10k on Tuesday.

This week's big event was undoubtedly the debut of the Watermead 10k on the Leicestershire Road Running League calendar, hosted by the Barrow Runners!

UTS Snowdonia 50k, Eyams Half Marathon, Nottingham Outlaw Half Triathlon and lots of lovely parkruns this weekend.

The 'Run'down - 12 May 2025

The fourth race of the LRRL took part this week at the Bosworth Half Marathon, with an impressive 28 Barrow Runners turning out for the club. This resulted in Gold standard runs from Matt King and Ian Robinson.

Welcome readers to this weeks Rundown! The club focus was primarily on the Livingston Relays, that being the first race of the Barrow Runners Summer Championship this year.

On this glorious weekend, twenty-nine fabulous Barrow Runners were on the start line of a marathon, one ran a half marathon and we had the usual multitude of parkruns.
